Online Courses

Delve into techniques, philosophy, and practice from your own home, on your own schedule, while still connecting with others.

These in-depth, online courses have been crafted for students who wish to learn more about topics that may not be covered at their local yoga studios, meditation centres, or in the books they’re reading. With the help of associate faculty, we’ve begun offering an increasing range of online courses from technique-based ones like Pranayama: Yoga Breathing in Depth, to lecture-style courses like The Psychology of Yoga and Mindfulness.

Online Courses include:

  • weekly videos
  • transcripts of most videos
  • beautiful support materials—whether in print or as PDFs
  • option of personal support via Skype and Group Chat with an assistant teacher.

Browse the online courses below to explore what each uniquely offers and determine if it’s suited to you.

Please note, when people ask me how to become an ongoing student of mine, I recommend they begin with the Embodying Ethics & Vows for Modern Life course, which is our most popular course and is offered once a year (along with attending a retreat so we can meet face-to-face).

Kathryn Bruni-Young joins Michael in offering this online course integrating evidence-based movement patterns into yoga practice. Learn how to create strength in areas of the body that often get over-stretched, discover more dynamic ranges of movement than “traditional” yoga allow, and more.
